McHugh Creek Hike

Before Maggie headed home to Alberta we wanted to show her some spectacular Alaskan scenery. We took her on a beautiful hike up McHugh Creek that overlooks the Turnagain Arm and the Chugach mountain range.
This is the view from the trail head where the hike begins.
On the way up we stopped for a photo by the creek.
About half way up we stopped to ooooh and aaaah - the ocean was amazing!
Toward the top we did some mountain goat climbing.
Here is the view from the top.
Back down at the bottom we found our way over to the waterfall and felt its' refreshing spray.
It was a beautiful day and a breath-taking hike.
