Mama borrowed some frilly pink outfits and the result? Two little girls so 'precious in pink'!

Festive Fun!

We have been busy filling our winter break with 'festive fun'!
We went to see The Polar Express movie in 3D. Before the movie we participated in a Christmas carol sing-a-long and afterward we got our golden tickets punched, got a candy cane from an elf, and a bell from Santa!
We also got together with some friends to make reindeer cookies to put out for Santa on Chrismtas Eve. Mmmm - delicious! Of course we ate a few too!

Mostly we are having fun enjoying lazy mornings together as a family!

Still Growing

Christmas Dress #1

The 'Va Va Va Voom Velvet' Number - complete with puffy white trim. It is always a popular look during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

(In the above picture Avrey is giving Quynn some advice on how to get onto Santa's 'NICE' list!)

You can't go wrong with this style either - it is 'SPOT' on! Paired with pretty red shoes (faux shoes that are really socks in Quynnie's case) and lacy black hair bows - this look screams Feliz Navidad!

Winter Wonderland

We are THANKFUL for Daddy - he takes us sledding. Mom thinks he may have needed some exercise because he ate too many helpings of mashed potatoes and gravy yesterday. Since it snowed all day it was like sledding in a Winter Wonderland.

Pink vs. Pilgrim

Thanksgiving Day this year was filled with family, fun, and delicious food!

We rarely stick to the fashion rules so we went with a more pink palette than a pilgrim (brown, black, gray) one...


I think my girls make pink look good and I am so thankful for my little Quynncess and her Big Sisoo!

Thirty days until Christmas and we can't wait!

Quynn is learning to eat solid foods.

She seems to enjoy squash, sweet potatoes, and bananas.

Avrey's 1st Sleepover

Avrey had her friend Katie stay the night last Friday.

It was Avrey's first sleepover and she was very excited.

The girls acted out the movie 'Barbie & the Three Musketeers', danced to 'Mama Mia' songs all night long, went sledding, drank hot cocoa, drew pretty pictures, and giggled a lot.

Now Avrey can't wait to have a second sleepover!

Getting Too Big for Her Britches

Quynn is learning to do all kinds of things lately...
She can sit up.

She can get up on all "fours" and rock back and forth.
She can even do 'donkey kicks' with her back legs and the 'downward dog' yoga pose.

Quynn has had spurts of three to four crawls but no consistent crawling yet (which is just fine with Mama - things are moving way too fast this time around).
