Avrey's Fourth Birthday with the Campbell Crew

We celebrated Avrey's fourth birthday with the Campbell family on Thursday, June the 9th.
One of her favorite gifts was sent from Grandpa and Grandma in Canada - a Tangled barbie.
Pop Pop & Grammy gave Avrey a sleeping bag as a present - it was a big hit.
Quynn liked the sleeping bag too.
Granny & Aunt Ann gave Avrey a very cool, very fast, very perfectly pink Barbie car - just what she asked for.
Another gift that Avrey received from Canada was a super stylish purple necklace from Auntie Becky, Uncle Stew, and the girls - she put it on right away.
After opening gifts it was time for DQ ice cream cake.
Avrey blew out all four candles in one foul swoop.
At the end of the party Quynn showed off her block tower making skills.
It was a wonderful way to celebrate Avrey's big day!

Update - Cousin Maggie Comes to Visit

We have been having so much fun!
We went to the Alaska Wildberry Farm.
We fed the caribou.
Learned about inuksuks.
Posed with a large overstuffed bear.
Got a little too close to the local wildlife.
We even went to the zoo.

Cousin Maggie Comes to Visit

Cousin Maggie came to visit us just over a week ago.
We have had so much fun hanging out with her.
Here are some of the things we have done so far...
We ate at Red Robin and rode the mechanical horse.
We got mani's and pedi's.
Maggie got really cool flowers on her big toes!

We've played at many parks.

We got dressed up for church and then visited Granny and her beautiful garden.

We walked along Cook Inlet's beach and took pictures on the big boulders.
And that was just the first week... more fun posts to come!

Stoked about Soccer

This is my soccer team the "Red Lightning"!
My first soccer game was last Wednesday.
My whole family (Mom, Dad, Quynnie, Grammy & Pop Pop) came to watch me.

I play on the red team. My friends Jossie and Svea are on the same team. We have matching soccer outfits and matching soccer shoes.
We learned about the goal line, the mid line, and the side line.
We also learned about toe-trapping the ball and kicking the ball with the banana-shaped part of our foot.
During the game we had to wait our turn and listen to hear our names called to play our shift on the field. We were good at being patient.
Our team scored many goals and I had fun playing soccer. Mom and Dad tell me I am a fast runner and a strong kicker!
