Pinkalicious

We went to see the performance 'Pinkalicious' at Cyrano's Off-Center Playhouse. Avrey has loved the book ever since we bought it for her a few years ago and she really enjoyed seeing the story come to life. Avrey dressed all in pink for the occasion!
The set was so cute and we had excellent seats!
We went with our good friends Brittni, Svea, Mary, Kelsey, Kira, & Grammy!
After the performance we took pictures on the set of the play.
Then we had pink lemonade and pink velvet cupcakes (just like in the book) - Yum!
Avrey even got her book signed by Pinkalicious (before she turned pink) herself!
What a 'Pinktastic' time we had!

Winter Wonderland

It has snowed over 35 inches in Anchorage this November (3 inches short of a new snowfall record)!

The girls are enjoying playing outside in this winter wonderland!

The Night of the Nutcracker

We went to see the Nutcracker Ballet at the Performing Arts Center the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Avrey wore a beautiful dress Granny picked out for her. She loved her dress and said she felt like a princess.
After Avrey was all dressed up, our chauffeur arrived... Pop Pop! He drove us over to Granny's house to meet up with Avrey's good friends Jossie & Haven for a quick fashion show and photo session.
Turned out all the girls wore red & black - so pretty!
Quynn wanted to get in on the picture taking action too.
Grammy tagged along for the fun as well.
When we arrrived at the ballet Jossie & Avrey picked out their seats and waited with anticipation for the Nutcracker to begin.
The stage was magnificent and the dancers were amazing!
After the performance the girls each got a souvenir. Avrey chose a snowglobe with Clara and the Nutcracker inside of it. Then they posed for one last photo and we reunited with the family at the Wishbone.
It was a wonderful night full of magic and at the end of it... Avrey was one tuckered out little lady.

Thanksgiving Dinner at Granny's House

Thanksgiving day started off great with Daddy making turkey pancakes!
Then we had a great Thanksgiving dinner at Granny's. We celebrated with Granny, Aunt Ann, Grammy & Pop Pop, Cam & Janet, and cousin Lisa. The whole family was happy to be together. The girls were dressed up so cute and had big smiles on their faces.
After Dinner we talked about all of the things we have to be thankful for... our family, friends, and countless blessings. We are also thankful to live in a state where beauty surrounds us.
