Snowy Saturday
We are super lucky girls because Daddy takes us outside to play on snowy Saturdays.
First we get dressed up warm in our snow gear.
Then we climb up mountains of snow.
We go sledding.
We make snow angels.
We just love snowy Saturdays!

Red Hot Sweethearts!
As Valentines Day approaches, Mama gets more and more in the "heart-warming" mood and we wear more and more pink and red. Last weekend we dressed as "Red Hot Sweethearts" and then went to join the rest of the Campbell crew at the Lucky Wishbone for fried chicken!
The best part of eating at the Lucky Wishbone actually isn't the chicken... it's the ICE CREAM!

Pajama Day
Canadian Christmas Vacation #3
Quynn & Avrey had a great time when we met up with the entire clan for the annual Matthews Christmas weekend.
It was fun (and a little challenging) to get all the cousins together for a photo. In the end though the picture turned out super cute (just like the kids' monogrammed t-shirts that they're wearing... Mommy and Auntie Cheryl made them and Mommy is just "a little" proud of how they turned out).
The cousins in the photo above (back row - left to right) Keeleigh, Jena, and Maggie who is holding Harper (front row - left to right) Quynn, Jesse, and Avrey.
Next it was the adults turn to strike a pose. Pictured above (left to right): Uncle Ben (the youngest child in Mommy's family), Uncle Nathan (second youngest child), and Grandpa (Mommy's dad).
Then the ladies... (left to right) Auntie Becky (the oldest child in Mommy's family), Auntie Leith (married to Nathan), Auntie Jenn (married to Uncle Ben), and Mommy.
When it was time to open gifts as a family, Avrey was so surprised! Cousin Keeleigh got her one of the four Musketeer barbies. "Mom - just what I wanted!" Avrey exclaimed.
Can you guess Avrey & Quynn's favorite activity to do with Grandpa? Yep - horsie rides. I bet Grandpa slept well after we left!
We had a wonderful Christmas vacation visiting in Canada. We can't wait to visit again this summer and compete in the annual Matthews Olympic Games!!!

Another highlight from our Canadian Christmas vacation... celebrating Jesse's 1st birthday!

When it was time for cake - Jesse knew exactly what to do! I guess he takes after his Auntie Joni and appreciates the fine taste of chocolate cake.
Quynn tried to get in on the chocolate cake action too. Wait your turn Quynn... a few more months and you will be celebrating your 1st birthday as well!
Maggie blew up a bunch of punching balloons for the kids. They were a big hit (pardon the pun)!
Grandma had a great time with all her grandchildren. She now has a total of seven grandkids to SPOIL!
Our next stop was to see Uncle Nathan, Auntie Leith, and their baby girl Harper.

Canadian Christmas Vacation #1
One of our first stops when we landed in Canada was to go see Uncle Ben, Auntie Jenn, & cousin Jesse. Quynn and Jesse (just four months older than Quynn) had a great time together. They exchanged pacifiers when no one was looking, crawled around the room chasing each other, and even took turns clapping and then giggling at one another.
Soon we met up with Uncle Stewart, Auntie Becky, and their girls Maggie, Jena, and Keeleigh. We all went swimming at the city pool and had such a great time!
Quynn and Jesse enjoyed floating around together and hanging out in the pool.
Maggie, Avrey, and Keeleigh rode the big water slide together and then the older girls played on the rock wall and even went on the rope swing.
Auntie Becky and Quynn hung out in the pool together for quite awhile. Quynn loved the warm water and spending some quality time with one of her favorite Aunties.
Avrey and Jena enjoyed splashing in the pool and playing in the water together.

Christmas with the Campbell's
On Christmas Eve the girls wore the last set of Christmas dresses that were in their closet and the whole Campbell clan congregated at Grammy & Pop Pop's house.
Grammy & Pop Pop (and the rest of the Campbell clan) really spoiled their little ladies (as usual).
Avrey and Quynn had a lot of fun opening their gifts! Quynn especially loved ripping off the wrapping paper and Avrey loved the surprise of finding out what was inside each package.
One of Avrey's favorite gifts was her Jessie doll. I don't think she has slept a night without Jessie since she opened her up.
Quynn (although she received many nice gifts) did not have a favorite. She enjoyed chewing on them all equally.
Mommy was once again serenaded by her very talented brother in laws (video soon to come).
